On the second day of the Higher Education Archival Institution (LKPT) Accreditation Field Verification, the Assessment Team conducted spot checks at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara to verify the consistency between the submitted accreditation documents and the actual implementation of archival governance at the faculty level.

The Directorate of Governance, Legal Affairs, and Archives, through the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Archives, once again organized the SEKAR (Monday Coordination and Briefing Meeting), led by USU Archives Manager Dr. Aisyah, S.E., M.Si. The activity serves as a regular coordination forum to strengthen synergy, evaluate the implementation of work programs, and provide strategic direction aimed at enhancing professional, orderly, accountable, and sustainable archival services and governance across Universitas Sumatera Utara.

The Directorate of Governance, Legal Affairs, and Archives, through the Archives Division of Universitas Sumatera Utara, conducted an Initial Assessment of Archival Management across all university work units from June 8 to June 25, 2026. The initiative aimed to map the current state of archival management as the foundation for developing more effective archival guidance and management strategies, with the goal of establishing an orderly, professional, accountable archival system that supports good university governance at Universitas Sumatera Utara.

Kegiatan mentorship bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan serta penguatan pemahaman terkait pengelolaan arsip dinamis, penataan arsip aktif dan inaktif, serta implementasi tata kelola arsip yang efektif di lingkungan fakultas.
