Universitas Sumatera Utara to Welcome ANRI Assessment Team for the 2026 Archival Supervision and Accreditation

Through its Directorate of Governance, Legal Affairs, and Archives, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) will welcome an assessment team from the Center for Archival Supervision and Accreditation of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) as part of the 2026 Archival Supervision and Accreditation program at the university.

 

The assessment, scheduled to take place on July 28–29, 2026, forms part of ANRI's efforts to evaluate archival management practices at higher education institutions while encouraging improvements in archival governance in accordance with national regulations and standards.

 

The ANRI assessment team consists of:

  • Susanti, S.Sos., M.Hum.
  • Yoga Pratama Nugraha, S.Kom.
  • Nurbaiti, S.Hum.

 

During the two-day assessment, the team will carry out a series of activities, including the opening session, a presentation on the archival management profile of Universitas Sumatera Utara, document verification, observation of archival facilities and infrastructure, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and the presentation of preliminary findings as part of the accreditation process.

 

The visit represents an important opportunity for Universitas Sumatera Utara to demonstrate its commitment to implementing a professional and accountable archival management system while supporting the principles of good university governance.

 

Through this supervision and accreditation process, USU expects to further enhance the quality of its archival management, ensure compliance with national standards, and provide archival services that are effective, efficient, and sustainable for the university's academic community as well as the wider public.

 

The Directorate of Governance, Legal Affairs, and Archives, through the USU Archives Office, extends its sincere appreciation and warm welcome to the entire ANRI Assessment Team. The university hopes that the activities scheduled for July 28–29, 2026, will proceed smoothly and provide valuable recommendations to further strengthen the quality of archival management at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
