About Archives Office Universitas Sumatera Utara
Universitas Sumatera Utara Archive Center was established on September 21, 2011, based on Rector Decree Number 2472/UN5.1.R/SK/TPM/2011 on the Establishment of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Archive Center.
The establishment of the USU Archive Center by Law Number 43 of 2009 concerning Archives in Article 27 aims to smooth archival management and orderly administration within USU, as well as following up on the Decree of the USU Board of Trustees Number 1/SK/MWA/I/2005 dated January 8, 2005 concerning USU Bylaws.

Director Archives Office USUAisyah, SE, M.Si was born in Malaysia on September 11, 1987. Aisyah is a lecturer in the Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Aisyah completed her Master's in Management Study Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara Postgraduate School in 2011. She is pursuing a Doctor of Management Science degree at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sumatera.

2017
Universitas Sumatera Utara Archive Center then changed its name to Universitas Sumatera Utara Archive Office by the Rector Decree of Universitas Sumatera Utara number 07 of the year 2017 concerning Office Manuscripts within Universitas Sumatera Utara.
