On-site Review in the Context of Assessment of the Best Archives Unit Level II in the USU Environment
To select the Best Archives Unit Level II at Universitas Sumatera Utara, the University Archives Office conducted a field review to assess the governance and orderliness of archives in each Archives Unit Level II. This assessment was based on the Archives Criteria Instrument Form for Universitas Sumatera Utara Environment. The assessment was conducted from July 25 - August 3, 2022, in 41 Archives Unit Level II, including 15 Faculties, 1 Postgraduate School (SPs), 7 Bureaus, 3 Institutions, 2 Technical Units and 13 Work Units.

USU Archive Office Wins 3 Competitions in Celebrating USU's 69th Anniversary
Welcoming the 69th Anniversary, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) organized a series of events to enliven it. On August 20, 2021, USU entered its 69th year since its establishment in 1952. The 69th Anniversary of the Universitas Sumatera Utara was held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, with the theme "Working together to protect our health against COVID-19 threats" USU prioritizes the role of the campus in overcoming COVID-19 in Indonesia and North Sumatra in particular. The theme was taken to show USU's commitment to helping the government break the chain and provide education to the public.

Comparative Study of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) Medan City to the Universitas Sumatera Archives
Tuesday, September 14, 2021, The USU Archives Office received a visit from the Archivist from the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) of Medan City to the Universitas Sumatera Archives Office in the context of consulting regarding the management of Archives which was opened by the Head of the USU Archives Office Mrs. Aisyah, SE., M.Si and at the same time presented the Profile, Services, Facilities and Achievements of the USU Archives Office.
