The purpose of the Universitas Sumatera Archives Office participating in the Socialization of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 20 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of Archives is to participate in activities organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
In addition, the purpose of participation in the Socialization of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 20 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of Archives is to provide information and increase understanding of the administration of archives that have been determined through Permendikbudristek number 20 of 2022 to realize understanding and uniformity of archives governance to provide knowledge and experience for archivists and archive management personnel of Universitas Sumatera Utara, especially the Universitas Sumatera Archives Office. To contribute to implementing good governance in Indonesia, especially with the support of archives management and orderly archives as national accountability materials and the nation's collective memory. Another goal is to strengthen cooperation and communication between archival organizations and archival resources (archive managers/archivists).
The socialization event was attended by 138 participants from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology and the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel throughout Indonesia.
