The activity was opened at 09.30 AM by the Head of the Archives Office Mrs. Aisyah, SE, M.Si, which was attended by 20 participants from all units and Study Programs within the USU Faculty of Agriculture. This activity was carried out in the context of following up the National Movement for Orderly Awareness of Archives and archive management assistance to all staff and officers with administrative and archives duties. This can result in better archive governance and the collection of university archive memory.

The presentation of the overview of the University Archives Office by the Head of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives Office, Mrs. Aisyah, SE, M.Si. who explained the importance of good archive management by referring to applicable regulations by showing an overview of the USU Archives Office. The participants who attended this session enthusiastically asked questions about the material's delivery. The Head of the USU Archives Office also invited archive managers at the USU Faculty of Agriculture to visit the USU Archives Office to conduct archive consultations to further improve understanding and skills in managing archives.

Visitation to the USU Faculty of Agriculture Study Program
Furthermore, the material was presented by Ms. Raisa Dwi Safitri, S.S.I as the field of acquisition and filing about the basics of archiving, dynamic archive management and depreciation and destruction of archives. Ms. Raisa Dwi Safitri, S.S.I and the Archive Office Team provided hands-on practice to all staff of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, on how to store dynamic and static archives according to the SOP and how to destroy archives that have expired their retention period.
The Archive Office team directly reviewed the condition of the archives in the Archive Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, to see firsthand the archive management that has been running so far. And also provides input that aims to make archive managers at the Faculty of Agriculture better understand the material that has been delivered previously through direct practice.
