The event was opened with remarks by the Head of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives, Aisyah, SE., M.Si. In her speech, she really welcomed and appreciated the visit from the ANRI Training Center to conduct post-training evaluations for training alumni from the University Archives Office. Hopefully, this will be a new spirit for us in improving the USU Archives Office to be even better because, basically, this training aims to increase competence, and it is hoped that after attending the training, the knowledge learned can be implemented in work on an ongoing basis.
Furthermore, remarks by the Coordinator of the Training Planning and Evaluation Substance Group Mukhaira, SH, MH, conveyed that there are two types of training: Functional Archives and Archives Technical Training. After training, we conduct post-training evaluations and discussions. I hope that Universitas Sumatera Utara has archivists so that they can add points and assess accreditation and supervision.

This visit aims to conduct research on the benefits of training for increasing the competence of archives human resources (HR) from before attending to the application of tasks in their respective post-training institutions and to find out the extent to which training plays a role in increasing the competency value of archives human resources within Universitas Sumatera Utara.
