USU Archives participates in BIMTEK Dynamic Archive Management in the SPBE Era

USU ARCHIVES: Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives has participated in the Technical Guidance (BIMTEK) on Dynamic Archive Management in the Era of Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE) organized by the National Board of the Indonesian Archivists Association (PN-AAI) in collaboration with the Archival Education and Training Foundation (YPPK) which was held for three days on 13 to December 15 2022 virtually with the distance learning method (distance learning system) through the zoom meeting application at the Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives.

Those who participated in the technical guidance on dynamic archive management in the SPBE era were Wenny Chalira, SH, from Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives Office, Harum Zakiah Lubis from the University Secretary, Irma Wahyuni Rambe, S.Sos, from the Faculty of Economics and Business and Sri Kurniadani from the USU Basic Science Laboratory.

Mr. Dr. H. Andi Kasman, SE, MM, delivered the material on Archivist Competence in the Digital Era.

This activity aims to increase knowledge of the basis for maintaining Dynamic Archives in maintaining the integrity, security and safety of Archives both physically and information. Utilizing information and communication technology in dynamic archive management is a must to keep up with the times. This has also been regulated by Law Number 43 of 2009 concerning Archives and Presidential Regulation Number 95 of 2018 concerning Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE).

Mr. Drs. Rahman Mulyawan, M.Si, conveyed the Document Content Lifecycle to the BIMTEK participants.

The output of the Technical Guidance on Dynamic Archive Management in the SPBE Era is to foster the National Movement for Archives Awareness and to realize an integrated and comprehensive electronic-based government system to achieve high-performance bureaucracy and public services. It is expected to be able to organize and strengthen the organization and governance of an integrated electronic-based government system, develop integrated, comprehensive, and broad-based electronic-based public services, build an integrated, secure, and reliable information and communication technology foundation, and build competent and innovative human resources based on information and communication technology.
