USU Archives Office Holds Archival Appraisal Committee Meeting for Records Disposition

The participants who attended came from universities throughout Indonesia and were accompanied by Mr. Sulthan Kasman, SE, M.Si as Head of the Work Team for Housekeeping and Archives from the Ministry of Education and Training Center and also participants from the USU Archives Office Cut Ruvina Hakim, S.Sos., M.Pd.
This activity was opened by the head of the USU archives office, Mrs. Aisyah, SE, and M.Si, who presented the profile, services, facilities, and achievements of the USU archives office.
The visit continued by introducing archive storage media in the Archives Office, such as roll o packs. Also practiced is the procedure for storing archives in each type of archive storage, and the difference between each type continues by looking directly at the Archive Gallery as a Memory of Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The purpose of conducting a Good Practice Visitation of Records Management to the USU Archives Office is to see and directly review Dynamic Records Management in an agency and also see the archival infrastructure owned by the agency as a complement to the material related to archival management that has been obtained during training activities.
