USU Archives Office Holds Archival Appraisal Committee Meeting for Records Disposition

USU ARCHIVES: The USU Archives Office's efforts earned the university a significant national achievement by being named one of the Best National Network Nodes for 2025. According to Decree No. 196 of 2025 issued by the Head of ANRI, USU was selected as one of 14 institutions recognized for excellence in implementing the National Archival Information Network.
The award was presented directly by the Head of ANRI, Mr. Mego Pinandito, on June 26, 2025, in Jakarta, as a token of appreciation for USU's commitment and outstanding performance in archival governance within higher education institutions.
Candidates for the 2025 Best Network Node Award were selected from among registered network members as of 2025 who had achieved a minimum rating of "B" (Good) in external archival supervision over the past two years. The selection process included rigorous stages of administrative review, data verification, presentations, interviews, and a final plenary by ANRI's panel of judges.
USU expressed its deep appreciation to the entire team at the Archives Office and to all parties who contributed to strengthening the archival information system. Their efforts improved internal service quality and supported the national management of collective memory.
USU remains committed to upholding integrity, innovation, and professionalism in archival administration, which is crucial to realizing transparent, accountable, and sustainable university governance.
By winning the 2025 Best National Network Node Award, Universitas Sumatera Utara further solidifies its position as a higher education institution with strong capacity and integrity in managing and utilizing archival information. This award is expected to enhance USU's contribution to data-driven development planning and sustainable policy-making.
