Imam Gunarto as Plt. Head of ANRI, in his remarks, said that this activity was related to the government's efforts to ensure the quality of archiving implementation in terms of guidance, training, research and development, certification, accreditation and supervision. Accreditation and supervision are used to measure the performance quality of archival institutions or organizations that are voluntary/participatory and/or mandatory, using standard instruments and carried out by qualified/certified officers. Each year, the methodology and strategies are dynamic to suit the times. In the beginning, the emphasis is on archival policy, operational/implementation of archival management, and digital transformation. He also added that the performance of archiving is always developing towards a better and more performing direction, as evidenced by the performance achievements that have increased yearly. At the level of Ministries / Institutions and Provincial Regional Governments, the number of agencies that have not yet obtained a Good predicate is decreasing; perhaps what needs to be considered is the condition of the implementation at the Regency / City Government because only 35% of them have a Good predicate in the archival supervision assessment.
Hopefully, what has been achieved can motivate the Higher Education Archives to maintain collective memory and support university accountability.
