The purpose of the Universitas Sumatera Archives participating in the Technical Training on Archival Basics by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology's Employee Training Center is to participate in the Technical Training on Archival Basics organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. In addition, the purpose of participating in the Archives Basics Technical Training is to improve competencies related to understanding the conception of dynamic and static archive management, Knowing the history of archives, Understanding active archive management, Understanding Inactive Archive Management, Understanding static archive management; and Understanding archives as the nation's collective memory.

After attending this training, the output is expected to increase self-capacity, increase the competence we have to explore and give birth to ideas and innovations that we can use as additional ammunition to improve our performance. We can also explore more deeply aspects of communication and public services to ensure that our work environment is safe, conducive, and inclusive. It is also hoped that archive governance, both static archives, active archives, and inactive archives, can be well maintained by the rules and regulations.
