Three Records Managers from Universitas Sumatera Utara attended the Technical Training on Dynamic Records Management Batch I Year 2023

USU ARCHIVES: On February 13-16, 2023, three archive managers from Universitas Sumatera Utara namely Rizki Mitra Hamdani, S.I.Kom (University Archives Office), Andika Iskandar Makdunia, S.T., M.T (Faculty of Cultural Sciences) and Dibya Wicitra, S.Kom (Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology) attended the Technical Training on Dynamic Archive Management Batch I Year 2023 organized by the Center for Education and Training (Pusdiklat) Archives of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia.

The training was officially opened by the Head of the Organization, Personnel, and Legal Bureau of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia, Amieka Hasraf. The training was attended by 52 participants from various agencies and was carried out using the distance learning method. There were 8 materials studied, namely National Archives Policy, Introduction to Dynamic Archive Management, Dynamic Archive Management Instruments, Active Archive Management, Vital and Preserved Archive Management, Inactive Archive Management, Archive Shrinkage and ICT-Based Archive Management.

This training aims to provide knowledge and skills for participants in managing dynamic archives, namely archives that are used directly in the activities of archive creators and stored for a certain period of time. The scope of the training material includes archive creation, use and maintenance activities. After attending the training, training participants are expected to be able to understand the concept and scope as well as apply knowledge and skills in managing dynamic archives according to the rules and principles of archiving in each agency.

The training was officially closed by the Head of the Training Implementation and Cooperation Team, Arih Murwati and based on the assessment of the ANRI training center committee, two participants from Universitas Sumatera Utara, received achievements as the Most Active Participant, namely Andika Iskandar Makdunia, S.T., M.T and Disciplined Participants namely Rizki Mitra Hamdani, S.I.Kom and Andika Iskandar Makdunia, S.T., M.T.
