The Socialization of Universitas Sumatera Utara Rector Regulation Number 23 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Archives was opened directly by the Secretary of the University, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar M.Ked (OG), Sp.O.G, Subsp.F.E.R., in his opening remarks, said that hopefully, the existence of Universitas Sumatera Utara Rector Regulation Number 23 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Archives can be a very helpful and very useful guideline in organizing a good archive system.
After the opening by the Secretary of the University, the next activity was the presentation of material delivered by the staff of Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives Office, Raisa Dwi Safitri, S.Si, she explained the contents of the University of Sumatera Utara Rector Regulation Number 23 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Archives clearly by explaining the articles contained in the Rector Regulation. The socialization activity was closed with a sharing session.

The purpose of the Socialization of Universitas Sumatera Utara Rector Regulation Number 23 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Archives is to encourage Universitas Sumatera Utara to implement archives by archival principles and the provisions of laws and regulations.
The purpose of the Socialization of Universitas Sumatera Utara Rector Regulation Number 23 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Archives is to provide references and technical guidance to universities in organizing dynamic archives and static archives in the USU Environment by archival principles and provisions of laws and regulations.
In addition, this socialization aims to fulfil assessment points on archival supervision instruments and accreditation of higher education archival institutions, in this case, Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives Office.
The Head of the USU Archives Office, Aisyah, SE, and M.Si, thanked the participants for their appreciation for attending the socialization event.
