Head of the USU Archives Office Aisyah, SE, M.Si welcomed the arrival of the Ministry of Education and Training Center. She said the Visitation visit from the Ministry of Education and Training Center was honorable for USU because it could be an example of learning dynamic archives for other universities from all over Indonesia.
In his remarks, the Head of the Household and Archives Work Team, Sulthan Kasman, S.E., M.Si., said that archival training cannot only be through material, but there must be practice. This training includes delivering material for approximately four days, then continuing with the exploration of archiving management. Sulthan Kasman said that this training can also be used to prepare RPL for training participants, and there will be a follow-up plan (RTL) in their respective work units after the visit ends.
The purpose of conducting a Good Practice Archives Management Visitation to the USU Archives is to see and directly review Dynamic Archive Management in an agency and also see the archival infrastructure owned by the agency as a complement to the material related to archival management obtained during training activities.
