USU ARCHIVES: After the Disaster Plan Socialization event at Universitas Sumatera Utara entitled "Ready to Face Disasters and Fires to Save University Vital Archives" in the Academic Senate Room Lt.3 BPA USU on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. On that day, a Disaster Plan Simulation was also carried out in the yard of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Archives Office. The simulation of APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher) was delivered directly by Gema Halelu Isa Meliala, ST, MT, as the Head of the Rescue Division of Medan City Fire Department.

This APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher) training aims to provide archive managers with an understanding of APAR's function and train archive managers to use APAR appropriately and correctly to deal with fires on a small scale.

In addition, it also explained the characteristics of the condition of APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher) that is ready for use:

  1. The position is still sealed
