USU Archives Office Holds Archival Appraisal Committee Meeting for Records Disposition

This activity was carried out to increase awareness of all elements of the academic community within Universitas Sumatera Utara and the importance of managing, saving, and caring for archives. So that it can realize better archive governance and the collection of university archive memory. This activity was welcomed by the Expert Staff of Dean II and the Head of Administration and was attended by 50 participants from all Deans and Heads of Subdivisions and all Tendik in the USU Faculty of Medicine.
The activity began with remarks by the Expert Staff of Dean II, Mrs Neni Dwi Aprianti Lubis, SP., M.Si, who expressed her gratitude to the Head of the USU Archives Office and the Team for attending in the context of archival mentorship and, at the same time, accompanying all educational staff of the Faculty of Medicine USU.
Furthermore, the delivery of remarks and a glimpse of the University Archives Office by Mrs Aisyah, SE., M.Si. as Head of the USU Archives Office, explained the importance of archives and showed a glimpse of the USU Archives Office.
Raisa Dwi Safitri, S.Si provides material on dynamic archive management and direct practice to all staff Faculty of Medicine USU how to store dynamic and static archives according to the SOP and how to destroy archives that have expired their retention period and continued with discussion and question and answer sessions by archive management participants in the Faculty of Medicine USU.
Furthermore, the Archive Office team directly reviewed the condition of the archives in the Archive Room of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
