Service Archive Publication

Background

Archive publication can be through print and electronic media. Archive publication can be done by publishing books, magazines and archive journals, photos, archive documents on the website, sound recordings, videos on YouTube channels and social media.

Service Requirements

A list of archive information has been categorized according to the type of openness.
Open static archives can be accessed but closed static archives cannot.

Mechanism and Procedure

Receive a list of archives that have been appropriately managed from the archive management section;
Determining information based on the openness of the archive by following the guidelines, namely the Regulation of the Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Number 47 year of 2017 concerning the Archive Access Security Classification System of the Universitas Sumatera Utara;
Checking and approving the list of archives that are allowed to the public after being categorized;
Directing to publish;
Broadcasting and announcing public information through the website of the Archives Office;
Updating and monitoring the airing period of public information according to the stipulated period.
